Packaging & labels
Packaging and labels that sell and protect
Boxes, bags, jars and labels designed around your brand, with authentication planned in from the start. The code lands where customers will see it and use it, not on a sticker added at the end.
Design
Custom packaging designed around your brand
Packaging is the first thing a customer holds. We design the structure, the artwork and the pattern system together, so a box, a pouch and a label all read as the same brand on a shelf.
- Retail boxes, mailers and sleeves
- Pouches, stick packs and sachets
- Jar, bottle and closure labels
- Inserts, cards and hang tags

Secure labels
Secure labels: scratch-off codes, QR and NFC
Every unit gets its own code. The customer checks it on a verify page in your branding, and you see the check in your portal.
Scratch-off codes
A unique code under a scratch-off panel. The customer reveals it and checks it on your verify page.
Serialized QR codes
One QR per unit, printed into the label art so it reads as part of the design.
NFC inlays
A tag under the label or inside the box. A tap opens the verify page with no app.
Placement
Tamper-evident seals and labels built to be checked
Need proof the box wasn’t opened? Tamper-evident seals and tamper-evident NFC tags are available on request. And a code only works if people use it. We place it where the customer’s hand goes first, add one clear line telling them to check it, and make the verify page worth the scan with product details or a reward.

Packaging for cannabis, hemp and vape brands
Cannabis, hemp and vape packaging gets copied because empty boxes and bags are easy to buy online. A unique code on each unit gives the customer a way to check before they use it, and gives the brand a record of where its product is really sold. We design the packaging and the label program as one job.
Proof
2.9 million label checks and counting
That’s 2,939,248 times a customer stopped to check a BirdHaus label code, alongside 9,162,242 NFC taps.
FAQ
Packaging and label questions
What are anti-counterfeit labels?
Anti-counterfeit labels carry a feature that is hard to copy and easy to check: a unique scratch-off code, a serialized QR code, a tamper-evident seal or an encrypted NFC tag. The customer checks the code on a verify page. BirdHaus label codes have been checked 2,939,248 times by consumers.
How do scratch-off authentication codes work?
Each label has a unique code hidden under a scratch-off layer. The customer scratches it, enters or scans the code, and the verify page checks it against the brand’s records. Every check is logged for the brand. BirdHaus designs and prints these labels as part of the packaging.
Can authentication be built into my existing packaging?
Usually yes. A secure label, a tamper-evident seal or an NFC inlay can be added to most boxes, bags, jars and closures without redesigning the whole package. When BirdHaus designs the packaging from the start, the code is placed where customers will find it and use it.
