Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed 10/26/2026. We want everyone to be able to use bybirdhaus.com, design in Studio and verify a product, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, zoom or reduced motion.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA across bybirdhaus.com and our verify pages. We check every page with automated tests (axe-core) at desktop and phone widths, and by hand with a keyboard, zoom and reduced-motion settings, before and after changes.

What’s built in

  • Keyboard: every link, button, form field and Studio step works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline. A “Skip to content” link is the first thing on every page.
  • Screen readers: pages use real headings, landmarks and lists, one main heading per page, labeled form fields and descriptive page titles. Form errors are announced and tied to the field they belong to.
  • Reduced motion: if your device asks for reduced motion, we stop fade-in effects, the 3D scenes don’t spin on their own, the globe opens as a flat map and the client logos stop scrolling.
  • Moving content: the scrolling client logos pause on hover or focus and have a Pause button.
  • 3D alternatives: the 3D product on the home page has a text description and can be turned with the arrow keys. In Studio, every choice is a standard form control, the preview can be turned with buttons, and the quote can be sent without using the 3D view at all. The network globe has a flat-map view, a list of places and a data table.
  • Color and contrast: text meets WCAG AA contrast against its background, and color is never the only way information is shown.
  • Zoom and small screens: pages reflow at 200% and 400% zoom and down to 320 pixels wide without sideways scrolling, except for wide data tables, which scroll inside their own box.
  • Touch: buttons and links are large enough to tap on a phone.

Known limitations

We’re honest about what isn’t perfect yet:

  • 3D views are visual by nature. Screen reader users get a text description of what’s shown, not the full visual detail. Everything you can do in 3D can also be done with the form controls next to it.
  • Dragging a logo into place in the Studio preview needs a pointer. Use the Size, Rotation, Left to right and Down to up sliders instead; they do the same thing.
  • Client logos are images of other companies’ marks. Each has its company name as alternative text.
  • Brands’ own sites and apps that a tag may link to are run by those brands and aren’t covered by this statement.
